Kensington Park Update (April 1, 2011)

Large Field: dirt infield, no pitching mound, fenced - in dugouts, bleachers, no permanent outfield fence.

Dimensions / Left Field 290 ft., Center Field 315 ft., Right Field 290 ft.

Small Field: dirt infield, no pitching mound, fenced - in dugouts, bleachers, no permanent outfield fence

Dimensions / Left Field 213 ft., Center Field 228 ft., Right Field 205 ft.

Small Soccer Field: U-8 and below, no soccer amenities including goals and benches

General Information: onsite parking and nearby street parking, picnic shelter, playground, seasonal portable restroom (April-October, subject to change), walking/running path, water fountain. Fields are maintained on a regular basis. Groups of 10 or more are required to have a permit to use the fields and/or the picnic shelter.

Location: Located in the Butterfield East neighborhood. The park is on Kensington Rd. just West of Lloyd Avenue. Lloyd Avenue is accessible from Butterfield Rd West of I-355 past Home Depot on north side of road. Proceed 3/4 of a mile north on Lloyd past four way stop, Kensington Rd. will be second street from that intersection, turn left, park is on right-hand side.

Rental Fee: Practice (not chalked, no bases) / $20.00 per hour resident, $25.00 per hour non-resident
Game (dragged, bases, chalked) / $30.00 per hour resident, $35.00 per hour non-resident
