The Butterfield Bullfrogs Swim Team, premier DuPage Swim Club offers children the chance to excel with their swimming talent while enjoying team fun and spirit. Open to swimmers of all abilities, both recreational and competitive. Only requirement is the ability to swim the length of the pool (25 yards). As a member of the DuPage Swim & Dive Conference, the team swims ten dual meets which occur on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. At the end of the season, "A" and "B" Conference Championship meets are held.

Swimmers are divided into age groups for practice and meets. Birth certifi cates are required for new swimmers only and must be presented at time of registration. New swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool. The season is approximately two months long. Practices are held every morning Monday through Friday.

Meets within the DuPage Swim & Dive Conference are only possible with the help and support of parents. Parents are required to sign up to volunteer at fi ve of the ten dual meets.

Fees for swim team include: practice time, pool pass, parent meeting, black/gold in-house meet, family gatherings hosted at the district, 10 dual meets, either "A" or "B" conference meet, and year end recognition. Optional activities may require additional fees for participation.

6-18 years

Jr. Bullfrogs
This new program is for those not quite sure they want the full swim team commitment or for those just looking to be introduced to the sport and team atmosphere. Designed for the 5-10 year olds, participants will practice 3 days per week, participate in select exhibition meets, join in on team gatherings, black/gold in-house meet, and year end recognition.

COMPETITIVE SWIMMER DISCOUNT Swimmers who swim for a competitive swim club in the summer may also swim for the Bullfrogs. Required to attend one practice per week and attend meets. $90 per swimmer
