The Butterfi eld Park District will have a new online registration system beginning February 1, 2011 for activities, pool passes, rentals, camps, and aquatics. With online registration capabilities, thousands of participants will now be able to view, register and pay for Butterfi eld Park District's many activities, including new programs such as softball leagues, baseball, craft classes, trips, camps, aquatics, and tennis!

Another exciting feature of this system is the ability to check availability of facilities. Participants can also go online and manage their aquatic passes and punch cards. Register for the swim team online or come in person May 2nd. Registration will begin February 1, 2011.

You may register online at www.butterfi eldpd.com. Registration is also accepted via fax, mail or drop off. A lock box is located just outside the front entrance for your convenience. Payments can be made in the form of check, credit card, or cash (exact amount is appreciated). There is a service fee for all returned checks. Online and faxed registrations are accepted with credit card only.

Please register by the deadline date to ensure classes meet the minimum number of participants. All classes canceled by the Park District will result in a full refund. Cancellation by a participant must be done two business days in advance to qualify for a full refund. There is a $5.00 processing fee for cancellations. Withdrawal from a program is refunded only after fi rst class, if not satisfi ed, with a doctor's note, or with evidence of a move with written request.

The Butterfield Park District provides some programs and services for its residents at lower rates than those charged to non-residents. Please check your tax bill to determine if you are within residency of the District. The fi rst fee listed is the resident rate and the second fee listed is the non-resident fee.

The Park District goal is that each class will have enough participation to ensure the class will run. Sign up early as well as encouraging friends will help ensure the program will run.
